Awesome Rental

The folks at Iceland Rental are awesome. We had booked our rental online before our trip and we landed there at 5:00 in the morning. The wait was extremely short and we were provided with our rental within 5 minutes. Dropping off the car was a breeze, with no hassles at all. The crew we interacted with were very polite, with no pressure to upgrade/up-sell into their coverages. We got the Silver protection package and it was sufficient for our driving (not adventurous). They explained to us how to use the "Oli" card (a discount card for the local gas stations) where we can get a free coffee and discounted prices on gas. Would definitely rent from here again on our next trip :-)

Really helpful

It was a really easy transaction, 15 mins from the airport, regular shuttle bus, speedy handover, Danial who served my was very entertaining, the car was in great condition and no issues, hand back was equally trouble free, no horror stories about damage or anything like that, i’d Definitely use these guys again on our return to Iceland.

Surprisingly the best experience with car rental. I research a lot of car rentals for our trip to Iceland and this company has the best deal with everything included in the price. Bonus was there was a free booster car seat for my 8 year old. When our flight arrived 6:30 in the morning their office was packed with renters. It was surprisingly a fast process. We did wait for about 30-40 minutes but it was okay. Everything was explained in details and we were not forced to add any additional fees/ services. Returning the car was even easier. We return the car and it was inspected and then we were informed within 10 minutes that we are good to go. You can walk from the airport to the office but it was particularly windy that day and storm coming in so we waited another 10 minutes for the shuttle and we were on our way to the airport. Quick and easy. We would book here again when we return.

We booked Iceland Car rental for our week long Iceland trip this November-2018. We had a very good experience with them. The car was available when we arrived. The attendant was very polite and courteous and answered all our questions. the car had some minor dents and that was pointed out to us right at the beginning. We had not realized that our booking was a short by one day for our trip. So when we reached there 24 hours later than the contract, the attendant was understanding of our error and charged us only of the incremental cost of a day. There are one thing I would like them to do, provide snow brush for winter rentals as we had overnight snow and had to borrow brush from elsewhere to clean up.
