Storage Capacity

The Aygo is budget friendly car with 5 doors and comfortable seating up to 4 people. The trunk provides approximately 168 liters of space, measuring 34cm in length, 81cm in height and 100cm in width. It is enough space to fit one medium to large suitcase.

With this compact design, the Aygo is an ideal choice for solo travelers or couples.

The Aygo is powered by a 1.0 L engine, ideal for its compact size, delivering efficient performance. It also offers modern perks like Bluetooth connectivity, USB and AUX inputs. For added comfort, the Aygo comes with heated front seats, ensuring a cozy ride during colder days.

The Aygo is a 2WD vehicle and is not allowed on F-roads. We recommend sticking to paved roads for your journey. Additionally, the minimum age requirement for the driver is 20 years old.

Age requirement and driving license

  • To rent a car Iceland Car Rental, the renter/driver must be at least 20 years old and shall have held a valid driving license for at least one year before renting the vehicle and must present the license when signing the Rental Agreement. To rent a large size SUV or a passenger car the renter must be 23 years of age.

 

  • Even though some countries have started issuing digital driving license our proivder requires a physical driving license at the time of pick-up for verification and record-keeping purposes.

 

  • In addition to that we require the driving license do have Roman alphabet (not Arabic, Chinese or Cyrillic scripts )but if not, an International Driving License is required.

  • Any request for exemptions on the above must be sent via e-mail prior to pick-up

How can I pay for my rental car?

Credit Cards:

We accept major credit cards: American Express, Diners Club, Mastercard, Visa. 

Debit Cards:

All debit-, debit/credit- or prepaid cards are accepted if a 15-16-digit number is displayed on the card. 

Lessee is required to provide payment card info at check out.

The card is used to charge cost of:

  • damages and towing
  • missing fuel
  • additional days
  • unpaid parking, toll and road fees
  • administration fees and other miscellaneous charges

No security deposit is charged to the card.

The card must be valid for 90 days after the rental period ends.

Is it possible to modify or cancel my reservation once it is confirmed?

Yes, you can modify or cancel your reservation after it is confirmed, you simply need to send us an email to our customer service representative.

For changes to reservations made via a travel agency or third-party broker, please contact the relevant agent.

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • All cancellations made 24 hours prior to the pickup are 100% refunded.
  • No shows are not refunded (0% refund)
  • If you pick up the car but decide to drop off early, we do not refund the unused, or partly used rental day(s) unless amendments to booking or cancellations have been made prior to the pick-up date.
