Compact Yet Comfortable: Seating up to 4 passengers, the Aygo’s clever design maximizes interior space. Two adults can sit in front with ample headroom, and two can fit in back for shorter trips. The cabin features heated front seats, keeping you cozy on chilly days. Despite being a city car, the Aygo feels surprisingly comfortable on longer drives around Iceland’s Ring Road, thanks to supportive seating and a well-designed suspension.

It’s not built for rough F-roads, but it will eagerly tackle the Ring Road and popular areas at a low cost.

Where to Drive: The Aygo is allowed on all paved roads in Iceland, including the main highways and typical tourist routes. It handles gravel roads decently too, though we recommend taking it slow on loose surfaces. F-roads (mountain/highland interior tracks) are off-limits for the Aygo, as they require higher clearance and 4x4 capabilities. For exploring Reykjavik, the Golden Circle, and towns along the Ring Road, the Aygo is perfect. In winter, stick to plowed roads and consider a 4x4 for heavy snow conditions.
