The upright seating position gives everyone good visibility, which is especially welcome on scenic routes like the South Coast or Snæfellsnes. The boot comfortably handles 3–4 large suitcases with all seats in use. Need more room for gear? Fold the rear bench to open a longer, flatter cargo bay for duffels, tripods, a week’s groceries, or equipment for a photo or hiking trip. Low loading height and a square opening make packing fast when the wind picks up.

Where you can drive

The Renault Trafic is ideal for paved roads and well-maintained gravel routes nationwide: city sightseeing, Golden Circle, South Coast, Ring Road segments, conference shuttles, or family reunions. As a 2WD passenger van, it is not permitted on F-roads or rough Highland tracks. If your plan includes the Highlands, choose a 4×4 instead.
